This Privacy Policy describes what information MTC / Modern Tech Compounds ("MTC") collects when you create a researcher account, acknowledge the research-use terms, or place an order, and how we use and protect it.

Information we collect

• Account: email address and password hash.
• Researcher acknowledgement: timestamp, IP address, and user-agent recorded when you accept the research-use terms.
• Order: name, shipping address, phone, order contents, payment method chosen, and any optional promo code.
• Communications: messages you send us and, if you opt in, SMS phone number and consent record.
• Site analytics: minimal server logs (IP, user-agent, request path, timestamp) used to operate and secure the Site.

How we use it

• Provide the researcher-only catalog and fulfill orders.
• Verify researcher acknowledgement and maintain audit logs for processor and regulatory review.
• Send order-related transactional email and, with consent, SMS updates.
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and unlawful use.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site (hosting, database, email delivery, SMS delivery, payment processing), and with law enforcement where required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

Account and acknowledgement records are retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for audit and legal purposes. Order records are retained as required by tax and commercial law.

Your choices

You may request account deletion or a copy of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us. You may opt out of SMS updates at any time by replying STOP.

Security

We use encrypted transport (HTTPS), managed database security policies, and role-based access controls. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for keeping your account password confidential.
